ECOWAS Parliament was established by the ECOWAS Revised Treaty of 24 July 1993 as one of the Institutions of the Community. The Parliament is the House of Representatives of the peoples of the Community. It is composed of 115 Representatives from the 15 Member States of ECOWAS: Benin, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Côte d’Ivoire, The Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone and Togo.
The Administrative Secretariat of the Parliament is made up of the Office of the Honourable Speaker, the Office of the Secretary General, the Directorate of Administration and Finance, and the Directorate of Parliamentary Affairs and Research.
A number of job vacancies exist within the Administrative Secretariat for which applications are hereby invited from citizens of the Community.

Entry Requirements for ECOWAS Recruitment
The first basic requirement is that all candidates interested in the ongoing Economic Community of West African States 2023 recruitment exercise must not be less than 18 of age and not more than 40 years.
Candidates must possess a minimum of Five Credits in no more than two sittings in West African Senior School Certificate (WASSCE), National Examination Council (NECO), and General Certificate of Education (GCE). Credit in English is also compulsory. Possession of HND, B.Sc, or an OND certificate in any related discipline, and from a recognized institution will be an added advantage.

Also, all applicants must have a valid means of identification such as a National Identification Card, a valid driver’s license, an International passport, or a Voters card. Candidates must also be physically and mentally fit and be free from hard drugs or narcotics.
